On July 26th the EJC Mission 2009 crew provided details and results of this year’s trip to Landglade County Wisconsin and the town of Antigo. 19 people were along on this year’s June trip which included the middle stages of house construction including windows, siding, some wall framing, insulation work and miscellaneous other construction tasks. The youth also built a tall tool shed from the ground up!
This year we built for Tammy and Rick Blaise family.Their children Jesse, Ashley, Kyle, Tyler, Shantea, Brittney, Leon will also be living in the new 5 bedroom home. They are very much looking forward to moving in this early Fall.
The Friday afternoon of Mission week included a rafting trip down the Wolf river-all 19 EJC mission crew members went on this 3 hour 2or 3 person operated adventure—see members for details and reports!!! Saturday included a tour of Lambeau Field in Green Bay – after many years of attending mission trips – finally Steve Venhuizen got his pick of locations! Thanks to all the folk of East Jordan for sending support and prayers along with the Mission 2009 crew!
